1. Christ in the Tabernacle
The law brought the knowledge of sin
Romans 5:12-13
Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus
death spread to all men, because all sinned— (For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is
not imputed when there is no law.
God’s plan of redemption and the priesthoods
Romans 5:13
(For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
Exodus 25:40
And see to it that you make them according to the pattern which was shown you on the
mountain.
Hebrews 8:1
Now this is the main point of the things we are saying: We have such a High Priest, who is
seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens,

My sons, do not be negligent now, for the Lord has chosen you to stand before Him, to serve
Him, and that you should minister to Him and burn incense.”
Hebrews 8:1-2
Now this is the main point of the things we are saying: We have such a High Priest, who is
seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, a Minister of the sanctuary
and of the true tabernacle which the Lord erected, and not man.
Hebrews 9:11
But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect
tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation.
1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people,
that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous
light;
Hebrews 8:4-5
For if He were on earth, He would not be a priest, since there are priests who offer the gifts
according to the law; who serve the copy and shadow of the heavenly things, as Moses was
divinely instructed when he was about to make the tabernacle. For He said, “See that you
make all things according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.”
Hebrews 9:11-13
But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect

calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained

living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,
The tent of meeting
Isaiah 53:2
For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant,
And as a root out of dry ground.
He has no form or comeliness;
And when we see Him,
There is no beauty that we should desire
Revelation 5:11-12

God has a plan for His church
Philippians 2:13
for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
1 Corinthians 6:19
Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you
have from God, and you are not your own?

in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.
The outer court
Revelation 19:8
And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the
righteous acts of the saints.
Luke 21:28
Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your
redemption draws near.”
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness.
Led by the Spirit
Romans 8:14
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
God wants to dwell in the midst of His people
Exodus 25:8
And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them.
Revelation 13:8
All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of
Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Philippians 2:5-8
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not
consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of
a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man,
He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
